CAPS eNews and Action

In this remarkably turbulent political season, CAPS is proud to be your steadfast voice for population stabilization. We continue to challenge the ruinous open-border, endless-growth worldview and urge all who understand the gravity of the situation to stay focused on the issues. Keep speaking out!

Big News: The administration’s attempted revival of amnesty was rejected by the Supreme Court recently. While some paint open borders and amnesties as “normal” or even “inevitable," here we can see otherwise. It’s possible to win, and we did! This was an important one in terms of the numbers and setting a precedent.

The following is a concise update on our most recent efforts.

Special CAPS News – NEPA Lawsuit

We are now officially a primary plaintiff against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in a ground-breaking and truly overdue lawsuit filed by IRLI! The DHS has consistently disregarded National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations when making immigration decisions, so a legal challenge is in order! Look out for a special message from us on this important case in the coming days.

The Racism Charge

Accusations of racism fly at even the slightest suggestion of reducing immigration these days. All too often this charge is used only to silence much needed and potentially productive discussions.

Check out CAPS’ latest retort. We’ve already reached half a million people on social media with this video. Brow-beating Americans who care about their communities and environment into feeling ashamed for wanting less mass immigration is completely unacceptable.

Scholarship Opportunity: The Crowdifornia Essay Contest

College Students: Have you wanted to find an interesting and do-able scholarship opportunity? If so, look no further! Submit an entry for the Crowdifornia contest!

We’re looking for brief explanations about the need for dialogue on our country’s current immigration-driven population growth. There is a lot of room for creativity in answering the prompt, since so many aspects of our lives are impacted by these trends. Learn more here.

Sanctuary Enablers Get Blindfolds: Round III

As many of you may know, CAPS has been sending blindfolds to elected officials, sheriffs, and others who are enabling or actively pushing for sanctuary policies. Our blindfolds and pamphlets let them know the public is watching, as they turn a blind eye to crime and create more American victims.

CAPS launched round three of this effort, targeting officials in over one hundred cities and counties across the country that are new to the sanctuary status list. These policies are NEVER justifiable and we’ll keep on publicly shaming those who earn it.

We hope that all candidates running for office – local elections up to the presidency – take note of the millions of Americans who want better than a disrespected, broken immigration system.

Your fighter,

Jo Wideman
CAPS Executive Director

CAPS welcomes Frank Morris, Sr., Ph.D., former Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation to our Advisory Board.
