Early in his campaign, President-elect Donald Trump promised a fired-up crowd of supporters that, when he was elected, they’d be able to say “Merry Christmas” again. At that instant, I knew Trump had a chance.

It’s okay to say “Merry Christmas” again!

Political correctness has worn Americans out. And Christmas is the season when PC culture peaks with its Winter Festivals, Holiday Concerts and Celebration Trees. Trump took a shot at the PC department stores, and said that he told his wife Melania not to patronize them. I long ago stopped going to Starbucks, watching ESPN and listening to Bruce Springsteen. Supporting artists like George Clooney, Barbra Streisand or Bryan Cranston who take my money and then use it to promote an agenda that mocks my values doesn’t work for me.

When I want to be entertained at home, I get out my “Dallas” DVDs. Set in the late 1970s, those Texas oilmen, their wives and girlfriends may have been snakes when it came to oil deals, but they were proud Americans.

Recently, Trump was in Wisconsin on his “Thank You” tour. Watch Trump here behind a “Merry Christmas” podium as he promotes his “Merry Christmas” message.
