Illegal Immigrants and Social Security

Last week I received a direct mail missile from a group I had never encountered before called the Senior Citizens League (www.seniorsleague.org). Now, all of you are not quite on the senior citizen’s list yet, but soon you will be, and will depend on those well-earned social security checks that you paid into for years.

This Seniors League has tried to investigate and to stop the U.S/Mexico Social Security Totalization Treaty and have been working on finding the truth about it for eight years. This treaty will award illegal aliens from Mexico, who worked here illegally, to collect U.S.  social security benefits from the Social Security Administration and State Department. Is this a government that is working for Americans? And the Social Security Administration has no estimate of how much this will cost us, the U.S. taxpayer. The estimate by the Senior League is $207.1 billion. This certainly means cuts to our senior population’s social security checks. And under the freedom of Information Act the Social Security Administration is not responding to the requests of this League, about how many workers would be eligible costs, etc.

CAPS’ main purpose is lowering U.S. population growth. Since immigration is the driving force behind our U.S. growth, (63% nationally and 98% in California)  we educate Americans about the dangers of continued massive immigration to the United States  which includes allowing terrorists, unskilled workers,  thousands of unauthorized family members to come to the U.S.  In California, in 2010, it cost our state $21.8 billion of entitlements just to immigrants. That is free education, free food, free health care and one third of our prison incarceration costs

Also, we are for curbing the huge number of one million plus legal immigrants allowed into our country each year, because, if you’ve seen our CAPS TV ads, they take jobs away from our unemployed Americans.  There are 24 million unemployed or “given up looking for a job” Americans who have also drained government coffers because they are being paid unemployment insurance.
