Obama is at it Again: Amnesty Teleconference – You’re not Invited

Published on September 14th, 2016

The Obama administration’s determination to grant lawful permanent residence to illegal immigrants without congressional approval marches on unabated. Obama’s goal is to dismantle as much immigration law as possible during his remaining weeks in the White House.

Another behind-your-back permanent residency for aliens.

Since I am on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services mailing list, I received an invitation to participate in a September 20 “stakeholder teleconference.” At that time, according to the USCIS email, a discussion about the new rule which became effective August 29 will ensue. Topics will include expanding the eligibility for “the provisional unlawful presence waiver process” for “foreign nationals who meet certain requirements.”

Full details won’t be available until September 20, but as the old chestnut goes, if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s probably a duck. A duck in this case is amnesty for the unlucky illegal immigrants that may not have qualified when the program was first offered in 2013.

Another clue that a provisional unlawful presence waiver translates to amnesty: the USCIS email had a specific footnote – no media allowed. Heaven forbid that citizens learn what the federal government is up to behind their backs.
