ICE deports Los Angeles-area gang member wanted for murder in El Salvador

An ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) news release from May 24, 2012 reported on the arrest and formal deportation (removal) of Tarsis Dodamin Quintero–Sanchez, an illegal alien from El Salvador who was wanted in his native country for the murder of Oscar Oswaldo Reyes-Alvarado.  A warrant for Quintero-Sanchez was issued by law enforcement authorities in El Salvador in September 2007 charging him with that murder that allegedly occurred on September 16, 2007 in Ciudad Delgado, El Salvador.  Purpo

ICE arrests 13 during enforcement operation targeting convicted criminal aliens in the Boston-area

ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) posted a news release on April 30, 2012 that reported on the arrest of 13 criminal aliens in the Boston area.  These arrests were made under the aegis of “Operation Threats Against the Community” that began on April 26, 2012.  According to the news release, all but 2 of the 13 criminal aliens had multiple criminal convictions for serious or violent offenses.

The primary goals of our nation's immigration laws can be distilled down into six words:  “Save American lives and American jobs.”

Incredibly, there is a long list of politicians and high ranking government officials on all levels of our government who actually oppose the effective enforcement of those laws and are willing to trivialize the importance of those laws and do whatever they can to block the enforcement of those laws.
