The Inevitable: Rubio Walks Away from Immigration

On April 10, the day of the illegal aliens’ Gran Marcha, I was in Senator Marco Rubio’s Washington D.C. office to meet with two of his immigration aides. CAPS had launched an aggressive Florida advertising campaign to draw attention to the damage that the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act, at the time being secretly drafted, would have on Florida’s unemployed.

Florida Journalist Wants to Know Why CAPS Is Picking on Rubio

Recently, a Florida-based journalist asked me why Californians for Population Stabilization, headquartered in Santa Barbara, would take out ads against Marco Rubio. The suggestion was that Florida is a long way from California and that Rubio doesn’t represent the Golden State.

Rubio: “Legalization is Not Conditional”

As the Senate immigration bill begins its first week under review, the key issues are border security, border security and border security. Opponents like Jeff Sessions, Chuck Grassley and Ted Cruz insist that the Border Protection, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Act, S. 744, lacks meaningful security measures.

Rubio Admits (in Spanish) That Amnesty Precedes Enforcement; CAPS Challenges Him to “Read the Bill” (Usted Debe Leer la legislación)

After weeks of talking out of both sides of his mouth, Senator and Gang of Eight leader Marco Rubio finally confessed (in Spanish) what his critics have known all along. The Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization bill, S. 744, grants amnesty first with enforcement to come later---maybe.

CAPS Speaks the Truth; Media Calls Us Haters: Yawn

On April 10, the day of the illegal alien Gran Marcha, I visited Senator Marco Rubio’s Washington D.C . office to meet with two of his legislative aides.

During out meeting, the aides repeatedly told me that if the soon-to-be-dropped Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act did not have strong enforcement and border protection provisions, Rubio would “walk away.” The aides repeated the phrase “walk away” frequently.

Please join in our campaign to stop the Senate legalization legislation for illegal aliens supported by Marco Rubio.

Senator Rubio is integral to the bill’s serious consideration and viability. Including the mainstream media, everyone paying attention understands that if Rubio drops out of the amnesty gang of eight, the-repeat-of-1986 bill likely dies the death it deserves.
