Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) and Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-AL) introduced H.R. 3964, The Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act, a bill that would give victims of crimes by illegal aliens the right to sue sanctuary jurisdictions for damages. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) introduced a corresponding bill in the Senate, S. 2059, earlier this month.

CAPS Calls on Congress to Stop Sweetheart Immigration Deal for Big Tech Companies

This past week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed House Resolution 1044, the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2019. If passed in the Senate, this legislation would increase the per-country cap on family-based immigrant visas and lift the per-country caps on employment-based green cards.
