Obama Twists Truth for Amnesty Decrees

Barack Obama is not a man to let honesty, principles and laws stand in the way of his political agenda. His arbitrary decrees offering amnesty and work permits to millions of illegal aliens are proof enough of this point, especially given the fact that prior to those decrees he admitted on numerous occasions that he didn’t have the legal authority to issue them.

President Obama seems determined to issue an edict granting amnesty to illegal aliens, probably millions of them, before the end of the year. He broke his promise to proclaim it by the end of summer, to avoid a backlash against his party in the November elections, but now many observers say he will issue his decree sometime in December.

Arizona v. United States: What gives? (Part 2)

The Supreme Court debated four provisions of the Arizona immigration law, SB 1070. The sections of the law up for debate were 2(B), 3, 5(C) and 6.  Section 2(B) requires Arizona law enforcement officers to make a “reasonable attempt,” “when practicable,” to ascertain the immigration status of any person whom an officer lawfully stops, detains, or arrests “where reasonable suspicion exists that the person is an alien and is unlawfully present in the United States.&rdquo

Down a slippery slope into dangerous territory

There is yet another report that a US Border Patrol agent has been sentenced to prison for "mistreating" an illegal alien (U.S. border agent jailed for improper arrest of suspected drug smuggler, http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/oct/25/border-agent-jaile-arrest-teen-drug-smuggler/).  The most recent incident involves a 15-year old illegal alien drug smuggling suspect.  Agent Jesus E.
