Sanctuary City Supporters Incoherently Blame Congress for Kate Steinle’s Murder

Suddenly, some of the most ardent illegal immigration supporters have little to say. Kate Steinle’s senseless murder in the sanctuary city of San Francisco allegedly by Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, an illegal alien and multiple felon, has muted their voices or forced them to nonsensically attempt to shift the blame on who else but Republicans for not passing comprehensive immigration reform – as if amnesty could have saved Steinle’s life.
 

New York Mayor Bloomberg's Inconsistent Immigration Policies Defy Logic

On September 27, 2012 the New York Post published an article, “Bloomberg blasts Bronx DA for not prosecuting trespassing arrests” which stated:

     “Mayor Bloomberg blasted the Bronx DA’s controversial policy of not prosecuting some trespassing arrests in public housing — saying that the move will bring the city back to its bad old days of crime and disorder."

ICE deports Polish fugitive wanted for manslaughter

On September 20, 2012 ICE's Chicago office issued a press release that heralded the deportation of a Dariusz Wietocha, a 43 year old citizen of Poland back to his native country so that he could be prosecuted for allegedly violating motor vehicles that resulted in two pedestrians being struck by the vehicle he was driving.  As a consequence of that accident, one of the pedestrians died and the other was injured.

This is the case for those who seek office at the local level and is certainly true for those who aspire to win elections for seats in both houses of the United States Congress and for the Presidency.  Shortly after winning enough delegates to the Republican convention to lock up the Republican nomination Mitt Romney talked about his abilities and experiences as a businessman to know how to create jobs for Americans.

They just want a better life

Illegal immigration advocates use the "they want a better life" talking point to justify the illegal alien's violation of the US immigration law.  They just want to mow your lawn, clean your house, take care of their families, etc.  The advocates overlook the myriad of laws broken to come to the US along with the ones they break to remain in the US.  Add to that the laws that they break that may be unrelated to them living in the US illegally.
